Our Feelings and Emotions

Exploring Feelings and Emotions

Feelings are little messengers that our body uses to tell us important things, little signals from inside, helping us understand ourselves better.

Paying attention to these feelings we can observe our true selves. Our bodies react to feelings. When we're happy, we might feel light and bouncy. When we're sad or scared, we might tense up. Our body is talking to us, and by listening, we can understand what's going on inside.

We all heard this before; Feelings don't lie. When we pay attention to how we feel, we can understand what really matters to us. Ever had a gut feeling about something? By tuning into these feelings, we can discover those hidden clues about ourselves. Feelings guide us through life.

When we notice them, it's easier to make choices that align with our true selves. If something feels right, it probably is. If it feels off, maybe there's something to explore. Feelings tell us where we are, where we want to go, and if we're on the right path. Paying attention to them helps us to be true to ourselves.

Begin by acknowledging your emotions without judgment. Accept that it's ok to feel a range of emotions, including the negative ones. Emotions are signals and accepting them is the first step towards managing them.

Hypnotherapy works with the unconscious mind and that amazing mind holds the key to our emotions, memories, and beliefs. Many of our feelings and emotional responses are rooted in this hidden state and have roots buried deep in past experiences.

Hypnosis allows us to safely revisit these experiences, exploring the origins of certain emotions and feelings. By understanding the root causes, we can gain valuable insights into why we react the way we do and reframe our perspectives on emotions.

By altering the way, we perceive certain emotions, we can change how we respond to them. Sometimes, emotions get tucked away in the corners of our minds, especially if they are challenging or painful. Hypnotherapy provides a safe and supportive environment to release these repressed emotions.

Negative emotional patterns often become deep-seated in our unconscious. A skilled hypnotherapist can help identify and remove negative thoughts and negative limiting beliefs or patterns of behaviour.

Pay attention to negative or unhelpful thoughts. Challenge them by asking yourself if they are based on facts or assumptions. Replace negative thoughts with more balanced and positive ones.

Emotions are energy, and sometimes they need an outlet. Hypnosis provides a safe space for emotional release. Emotions, like happiness, sadness, and anger, are more than just random feelings – they're wise guides offering insights into our inner world.

We might not always like what we feel but these emotions hold valuable truths. When we acknowledge an emotion, we become a gentle observer of our own internal experience. This observation allows us to see the emotion without immediately reacting to it.
By taking on this role, we create a space between ourselves and the emotion, giving us room to understand it better.

Practice deep, mindful breathing. When emotions arise, take a moment to focus on your breath. Inhale slowly, hold for a moment, and exhale. This simple practice can help calm the nervous system.

There's no right or wrong feeling – there's just an opportunity for us to grow.

By working with the unconscious mind, we can create a more harmonious relationship with our feelings and emotions.
